Happy 4th of July!!!!

Gracie's lovely fruit pie. It was amazing but really really sweet.

Jacob and Matt the dorky pyros.

Me and my extremely dorky homie hat.

Gigi and Jessie at the neighborhood parade.

On Saturday, Gianna and Jessie rode in a parade in our neighborhood behind a big firetruck. The on Sunday, we had a great time with the Pfeifers! We played Apples to Apples, watched North and South and had lots of fireworks and food. I even wore a dorky hat to win a bet against my friend in California.

Boot Camp

Also several weeks ago, Sierra and I participated in a two week long boot camp called Caelis at Camp Gargano. It was based on the spiritual as well as the physical aspects of working out and it was INTENSE! It was Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in the mornings from 10-12 and consisted of all sorts of floor exercises and exercises on the obstacle course in the basement of the camp. A few of the days we ran the "Crusade" which is just over a mile long.

(Jenay, Me, Sierra, Rachel, Mattie, Grace and Annie)

It was difficult but a lot of fun and I hope to do it again next year!

Shakespeare Camp!!!

Fun times!!! So, a few weeks ago, Jacob and Gianna (and Jessie) were involved in a week long "Shakespeare Camp" hosted by Mrs. Urbanovsky and Mrs. Little. I was one of the "counselors" who helped out. We dressed as fairies. :) It was quite fun. I am so sad that it is over.

Grace and Annie- the wonderful musicians. They did a beautiful job- especially with their "Fairy Song" which Grace composed and the little fairies all danced and sang to.

Us fairy helpers. :)We look silly because our wings were quite a nuisance.

The lovers dancing to a dance composed by Anne Kohn.

Pyramus and his dear Thisbe. Their death scenes were hysterical. We still quote them, using their silly stage voices.

The faithful Lion and Moonshine who both did a great job.

The faithful wall. Isn't that wall great?? I was pretty impressed.

Theseus and Hypolita discussing the fate of the lovers.

Titania, Queen of the Fairies, and Bottom, her beloved ass.

Demetrius and Helena, finally reunited.

Bottom enjoying having servants.

One of the mischeivous little Pucks. The role was split between Patty Thompson (pictured) and Lindsay Ojeda.

Gigi

Kate as the mysterious 1st fairy. Doesn't she look so pretty??

The mechanicals. They were my charge and I was very proud of them. They were very funny and I hope they all want to do it again next year.

Grace and Annie in between scenes.

Gigi as Egeus. She's remembering all of the hateful things that Lysander has done to steal her daughter, Hermia.

Aren't they all so cute? I was very proud of them all and I am so sad that it's over. I hope to do it again next year- so, I do have something to look forward to!

Father's day and Weddings

Happy really belated Father's day!! And congrats to Matt and Maura. Unfortunately, the pictures are out of order but I don't feel like re-arranging them. :)

That was a good day!! I love weddings.

Birthday!!

Happy birthday to me! Happy birthday to me! Happy birthday, happy birthday... happy birthday to meeee!!!!

That sounds egotistical.

Haha- I had a great one though! It was very strange being in a different state for my birthday. Everyone was really nice and I was wished well by many, so I have nothing to complain about.

Cute pics. Well sort of. I never like how I look in pictures. Hahaha.
